WHAT PROBLEM DO YOU SOLVE?
There is no great way to actually buy refurbished products online right now. We solve that by combining many merchants and creating a very wide range of products on a marketplace.
HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA?
My co-founder Killian worked with refurbished products for a couple of years and I have digital marketing expertise and marketplace experience. That’s why we thought we need to do this together and partnered up. That’s how we founded Refurbed.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
That we went from founding the company to going live within one month.
THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSON YOU HAVE LEARNED ON YOUR WAY?
That running a startup you can be hard work, but also a lot of fun.
HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A PITCH?
I go through the stuff I want to say mentally – and then say something completely different.
YOUR ADVICE FOR EARLY STAGE STARTUPS?
Test as much as possible and as fast as possible and don’t overanalyze anything.
