Gabriela Matic is the Programme Director at ATI Boeing Accelerator, a 3-month programme for world-class startups building industry 4.0 and sustainability enabling technologies, with the potential to bolster the growth and competitiveness of the UK aerospace industry.
Prior to becoming Programme Director at the accelerator, Gabriela held the same role within Ignite where she delivered multiple pre-accelerator and accelerator programmes. There, she also helped design an inclusion programme, giving equal opportunities to founders from outside of London, female founders, older founders, parents, and sustainability-focused companies.
Gabi is the co-founder and former CMO of MindMate, a health-tech startup that started in Glasgow, and alumni of Ignite [Prog. 7, Winter 2015 cohort] and Techstars NYC [Summer 2016]. MindMate raised over $2M from top-tier international investors and is now headquartered in the US. While at MindMate, she grew the platform from user 0 to 50K and sold into the NHS, through her expertise in digital marketing, user acquisition, sales and fundraising. She left the company in 2016 to join Ignite. While designing and delivering accelerators with Ignite, Gabi directly supported more than 80 startups and managed programmes nationally, in Manchester, the North East and London.
