Since 1998 lawyer Michael Stefan accompanies the development of cyberlaw as an author of numerous publications as well as a tutor of academical cyber projects at the Department of Computer Law, Saarbrücken. In addition, he gives lectures and arranges training courses on a regular basis about subjects in the field of cyberlaw, data privacy, and IT-Security. Michael Stefan is an associate professor of media law at the Dual University of Baden-Württemberg at the Department of Service management for media and communication. Various small and medium-sized businesses trust Michael Stefan as their external data protection officer. Furthermore, Michael Stefan is a member of the German EDV-Court Day e.V., the Chamber of Industry and Commerce – IT Network, TK & Multimedia and of the Advisory Committee Broadband Neckar-Alb. He also supports several Children Aid Emergency fund projects.
