Birgit has more than 15 years of sales experience in all relevant types of media. From 2002-2008 she worked as a key account manager and team leader for the ORF Enterprise, focusing on TV and Radio sales. The following 2,5 years Birgit spent at the Verlagsgruppe NEWS, where she held the commercial responsibility for 3 different print magazines. As Managing Director at the Manstein Verlag (2011-2013), she collected a lot of experience in the Print business to business field. 2013 Birgit returned to the Verlagsgruppe NEWS to lead the digital sales unit. In 2015 she took over as Managing Director of Trend and Format, responsible for budget and profit of these two business magazines. During most of her career, Birgit was in a leadership role heading different sized teams, in sales as well as in marketing.
From January 2014 – June 2015 Birgit completed a Business Coaching Training at the Dehner academy Konstanz/Berlin.
April 2017 to February 2018 she worked at IP Österreich building up and establishing Unit 3. Unit 3 develops Media for revenue share models, addressing in particular startup companies offering them the possibility to utilize TV-advertising as a very effective and -for them- new marketing channel.
Birgit is a focused, consequent and communicative person with a great sense of humor. Her professional career is characterized by authenticity and hands-on mentality. She believes that in her private and professional environment honesty and openness are key.
