Dirk Kiefer is Director Consulting Services for the Public Sector at CGI Germany in Munich. His focus is on Smart City and innovation projects. Previously, he has set up and managed several corporate, innovation and creative industry funding agencies: for the Bavarian Society for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer, the Center for Cultural and Creative Industries, for the Thuringian Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Center for Business Start-ups and Entrepreneurship, and for the Initiative Cultural and Creative Industries of the Federal Government the Regional Office Berlin and Brandenburg. The portfolio of Dirk Kiefer as consultant, lecturer and independent entrepreneur also includes numerous international activities in the fields of technology, media, and cultural management.
