Palmiro is an electronic engineer, who has studied at the University of Bologna and is currently employed at the Austrian Patent Office. His function is the examination of a patent application in order to assess their patentability. The most relevant tasks are to carry out searches to the state of the art and to assess novelty and inventive step of the filed patent application. He is further involved in different services which have the goal to inform and support startups and SME having questions relating to patent, trademarks, and design.
