When Sabine started her legal career she focused on corporate law and became a lawyer in the corporate M&A team of BTP. She supported founders from the early stage advising them to find the best legal form for their business until (and beyond) the first investors got on board. After an engagement as legal and compliance manager with a payment services provider Sabine gained experience in regulatory and data protection regulations. However, the most significant learning in this position was, that what makes a lawyer’s work a real success for the team is an in-depth understanding of the company’s business model and – most relevant – to support the team to make it work. Sabine is convinced that this experience is crucial to support their clients with excellent legal advice.
