Shkelzen Marku Co-Founder & Managing Director | Yunus Social Business Balkans

Shkelzen is Co-founder and Managing Director of YSB Balkans. As part of his role and contribution to YSB Global Initiatives, he has now several years of experience in entrepreneurial services and venture capital financing for startups with innovative solutions to solve social problems in Western Balkans countries (including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia). Prior to YSB, Shkelzen was Executive Director of the Mountain Area Development Agency (MADA). He also worked as Director General of Agriculture and Rural Development Policies in the Ministry of Agriculture in Albania. He has also several years of experience in economic development support projects and management consulting; design, implementation and management of development projects/programmes and economic policy (for numerous programmes/project funded by international donors, such as World Bank, IFAD, FAO, UNDP, DfID, etc.) in various countries.
